Due to expansions and a merger with a larger company, Roy Associates was hired by Smart Modular to complete a tenant improvement when they moved to a larger facility of 129,000 square feet. Our firm produced a complete set of construction documents that described the project in sufficient detail to obtain a building permit. The modification consisted of new offices, HVAC modifications and additions, electrical power/lighting, telecommunication security, and telephone and data systems. The design and construction was completed in less than 3 months time per the client's direction. The construction cost was approximately $3 million.
